Kalia scheme | Reduction in support amount of Kalia scheme

Recently Odisha government has reduced the amount of assistance provided under the Kalia scheme from Rs 10000 to Rs 4000.

Reason for reducing the amount of support:

The amount of assistance given to the farmers under the Kalia scheme by the Odisha government has been reduced because the Odisha government has launched the Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation- KALIA scheme in February 2019, the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi. The plan has merged.
